NICKIN THAT NACK

I wear the same three silver rings, stud earrings, silver watch, and assortment of bracelets every day. When I get creative, I'll throw on my usual statement pieces. While my style is geared more towards cleaner lines, the excitement of these harsh edges adds so much character to a person's look, it makes me reconsider what my serving size of detail is in an outfit.
At first glance, someone might say it's all too much or not enough for them. But looking closer the overdose of detail is just right for this blonde. When she goes for a hit from her cigarette or responds to someone's text, the visual stimulation of her accessories in her peripheral vision gives her the inspiration of defining herself that day.
Don't even get me started on the innocently ruffled socks combined with angsty studded kicks. Its inspiring how the youthful style of a 5 year old and 14 year old come together so perfectly and almost entertainingly. But when you look at this girl's carefully tucked away feet, you don't laugh at her and think: "what was she thinking this morning?" Instead, you scan a girl like this up and down with your eyes and become envious of her style confidence and her decisive ability to define herself creatively. You find yourself dying to run into the nearest Stride Rite and Hot Topic store just to feel what its like for a second to express yourself so differently and far from your own safe-style-zone.
